This was a blog post idea that was brought to me by a new follower, LuxMrgx. I loved the suggestion so I wanted to give this a stab. Would love to see your tweaks in the comments section below. The rules are simple: you have to pick a 32 man roster (22 starters, kicker, punter, long snapper, special teamer, returner, and 5 backups) picking only one player from each team. Here’s mine below. Keep in mind this is a team built to win in 2014, so age and salary were not factors:

RB: Adrian Peterson, Minnesota Vikings
FB: Marcel Reece, Oakland Raiders
WR: Calvin Johnson, Detroit Lions
WR: A. J. Green, Cincinnati Bengals
TE: Jimmy Graham, New Orleans Saints
T: Trent Williams, Washington Redskins
T: Tyron Smith, Dallas Cowboys
G: Logan Mankins, New England Patriots

Starters on defense (4-3)

OLB: Robert Mathis, Indianapolis Colts
MLB: Patrick Willis, San Francisco 49ers

Starters on Special Teams
