Saints Nation Bold Predictions – Titans – Week 9

So… If you had predicted any of these you would have been really crazily bold:

• There will be 13 TDs thrown in this game
• This game will have more then 100 points
• Browner will have 6 penaties called against him and have now more penalties then he had last year where he was #1 in the league.

They would all have been true. Is anyone ever would look up the word: “Shoot-out” in the dictionary, a picture of this game should be next to it. So lets see how our predictions faired:

Mellow Patrick actually had one correct this time. Not the 2 turnover one. That did not happen. The 0 sacks on Brees. I mean the o-line really is formidable! What a great set of guys really getting into their own.

In the comments I at first was inclined to award cabletonka a special mention since the only part of his prediction, 0 INTs, did not come true but the others did by a big margin. Then again, if you call for 4 TDs throw and it is 7, you are so far off.. Nah. Denied! 😉

Well that was it. Nobody called for Brees to be this good 🙂

Here are our bold predictions for when the Saints play the Titans.

Andrew:

1. Saints get 5 interceptions
2. Titans have an 80 yard punt

Brian:

1. Saints get 6 sacks.
2. Drew barely misses Cooks for a huge play then the offense explodes.
   [If you had listened to the podcast, THIS is the moment Brian knew the Saints would win. So when Drew misses Cooks that is when the Saints start putting up points.]

Mellow Patrick:

1. Titans.
2. Chill.
   [Anyone can tell me what this guy means, otherwise I have no idea how to judge his prediction?]

Marijn:

1. Watson has his best game yet. Over 150 yards and 2 TDs.
2. Murphy will have a TD while NOT playing on special teams.
