This was one of the stranger drafts in recent memory. I really felt the Saints did an A+ job after the first two days, with my lone regret being the failure to draft a guard. I thought the third day was thoroughly disappointing. They’ll need to go a good job landing a solid undrafted free agent class. We’ll see how these players develop, but a lot is riding on the first three picks especially making an immediate impact. Here are the draftees:

Round 2, Pick 47: Michael Thomas, WR, Ohio State
Round 2, Pick 61: Von Bell, FS, Ohio State
Round 4, Pick 120: David Oyemata, DT/DE, Manitoba (Canada)
Round 7, Pick 237: Daniel Lasco, RB, California
