Week 13 Preview

Week 13 Preview
Starting close to home, we have to take care of business against Oakland. The Steelers have to put Oakland away early. No screwing around like they did against Kansas City letting them come back and make a game of it. Build a lead then put the other team away.
There’s one guy out there who knows all about burying people:

Fact: Rashard Mendenhall’s nickname in college was The Undertaker.
Week 13 PreviewDenver is playing at Kansas City. As we found out a few weeks ago, anything can happen in KC. Denver is a game up on everyone in the wild card race, but lost head-to-head to both Pittsburgh and Baltimore.
Week 13 PreviewWeek 13 PreviewJacksonville and Houston are playing in Jacksonville. The Jags are one game ahead of Houston in the playoff race. A loss would almost certainly knock Houston out of the hunt. Jacksonville won the first matchup 31-24 when Maurice Jones-Drew ran for 120 yards and 3 TDs.
Week 13 PreviewThe Death Eaters are in Green Bay on Monday night. Their pass defense has been weak all year. If the Green Bay O-line can give Rodgers time, he’ll pick them apart. Very losable game here for Voldemort.
Week 13 PreviewMiami gets New England at home this week. The Patriots haven’t won a road game in America this year. The Patriots are also notoriously good in weeks after they lose. Something’s going to break here. Sadly for the Steelers, it would be more helpful if New England won.
Week 13 PreviewTennessee is in Indianapolis this week in what many are billing as the game of the week. At 5-6, Tennessee needs a win to keep their playoff hopes alive, and they just might get it. Indy has been on the verge of losing the past few weeks, and Tennessee might be able to beat them if they can control the game on the ground. Just like the Miami situation, it would be helpful for us if Indy won.
Week 13 PreviewThe Jets knocked the Bills out of the playoff hunt on Thursday night, moving New York to 6-6 and keeping them right in the thick of things.
As long as the Steelers take care of business, we’ll be in good shape. We need Jacksonville to lose in order for us to control our own destiny moving forward. First things first, beat the Raiders.
