Offense

Last season started off as a nightmare for this offense, but they turned it on at the end of the year and finally lived up to their potential. This is a very good group with playmakers all over the field. They can be a dangerous bunch when everything is clicking, but downright awful when things go wrong. The biggest question is which group will show up in 2012?

Defense

The Eagles stacked up on corners last season but found that Asante Samuel, Nnamdi Asomugha and Dominique Rogers-Cromartie weren’t all the best fits for their scheme. Samuel was shipped to Atlanta in free agency and the Eagles took some steps to address the weak interior of their defense by drafting Fletcher Cox in the first round. The middle of the Eagles defense was pretty bad last season, but if they can force teams into passing situations, Jason Babin and Trent Cole are two of the best in the league coming off the edge.

Intangibles

A lot of question marks for the team that was once dubbed the “Dream Team” but all the potential in the world is here for the Eagles to live up to their expectations this year.

Prediction

It’s hard to argue against this team on paper. Everything looks to be there, as long as Michael Vick doesn’t get hurt. Well…um…there is always the chance of that. 10-6.
