Today the Columbus Blue Jackets released their preseason schedule to little fan fare. The preseason is always very goofy and is normally a shell of a team playing out on the ice. That will especially be the case this year as the first few games will take place during the World Cup of Hockey.

The Pittsburgh match ups will be fun as they will take place after the World Cup of Hockey. They will be coming off of making the Stanley Cup Final and will likely have an exciting team again next year. Facing Nashville will always be fun as the Ryan Johansen trade will always connect the two franchises. I am just glad that we have dates that we can circle for the upcoming season.
