Friday night, the Celtics streak came to a halt as the Pacers won 89-74. Once again the C’s struggled in the 1st half only scoring 25 points. The front runners for the Celtics were Ray Allen, who returned in the lineup for 23 points. Also, Rajon Rondo contributed 11 points, 9 assists and Paul Pierce went 3 for 17 only having 17 points. Meanwhile, six players from the Pacers dropped double figures; thus, causing the Celtics to fall short and not playing defense behind the key. The Pacers win for the 1st time at the TD Garden since 2007. The Celtics are now 4-4 and play Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at home against the Mavericks. Tip-off is at 8pm sharp.
