On Wednesday night at the Wells Fargo Center, the Philadelphia 76ers fell to the Denver Nuggets 108-104 in overtime.
The star of the game for the Nuggets was PG Andre Miller who came off the bench and played 39 minutes. Miller scored 28 points and had 10 assists. Miller was big down the stretch for the Nuggets especially in the closing minutes of the 4th quarter and for the whole overtime period.
For the Sixers, SG Evan Turner had 20 points and 11 rebounds off the bench. Just like Miller, Turner was big in the 4th quarter; taking big shots and driving in the lane to get easy buckets. Evan Turner has improved big time from this time last season. It can only get better from here for Turner, and he could evolve into this team’s superstar.
The (10-4) Philadelphia 76ers, who are now (6-1) at home, will take on the (11-4) Atlanta Hawks on Friday, at 7:00 PM at the Wells Fargo Center.
