Monday evening, the Celtics squared off against OKC. It was a homecoming event for Kendrick Perkins who returned to play his former team. The C’s leading scorers in this game were Paul Pierce, (24 points), Kevin Garnett, Rajon Rondo, and Jermaine O’Neal finished with 12 points. Nonetheless, three players from the Thunder finished with double digits including Thabo Sefolosha, (19 points), Russell Westbrook, (26 points) and Kevin Durant (28 points) and that was enough to lead their team to a victory. The final score of this game was 97-88. I’m sure many Celtics fans are concerned about how the team is going to find a way back to the playoffs. However, there are 52 games left in the season to bounce back and make a progressive start. The Celtics face the Toronto Raptors at 7:30 pm Wednesday, January 18 2012.
