After last night’s 93-87 loss to the Houston Rockets, the Philadelphia 76ers go into the all-star break on a five game losing streak. Going into the break the Sixers are 20-14, 1st in the Atlantic Division, and as of right now 4th in the Eastern Conference.
What is wrong with this team? Did they get tired, since they knew the all-star break was around the corner? Or is it the Spencer Hawes effect? All these reasons are contributing factors to why the Sixers are in a tailspin.
This team has to play better coming out of the all-star break. It’s nice to see Lou Williams leading this team in scoring with 15.7 ppg. But players such as: Jrue Holiday and especially Andre Iguodala have to pickup the scoring until Spencer Hawes comes back. The Sixers during this break need to rest themselves because the 2nd half of schedule only gets tougher.
