This afternoon, the Boston Celtics faced the New York Knicks at the TD Garden. Lin and the Knicks faced off against Rajon Rondo and the Celtics to be one of the all-time favorite rivalry games. Within the last few minutes of regulation with no timeouts left Paul Pierce was forced to take a three point jumper to take the Celtics into OT. The key players were Rajon Rondo, who finished with a triple-double consisting of: 20 points, 17 rebounds, and 20 assists. Also Paul Pierce, who finished with 34 points, Allen with 12 points, and Garnett and Bass with 18 points. Nonetheless, the Knicks tried their hardest with Carmelo Anthony leading the way with 25 points, with the help of Stoudemire’s 16 points, and Lin’s 14 points and 6 turnovers. After watching this game, Rondo should definitely not be traded as he continues his career with the Celtics. The Celtics are currently 2.5 games behind the 76ers and 7th in the Eastern conference race.
