Even through this final day of the Philadelphia heat wave, people still came to see their Eastern Division Champion Philadelphia Soul go against the Spokane Shock in their second to last game of the season.  The Soul came into this game guns a blazing with a 13-3 record and on the verge of a franchise record of 14 wins.  Could they pull it off?  Yes they did, and they did it with style.  In the first half, the Soul dominated the Shock point wise 42-34.  This was all thanks to Soul QB Dan Raudabaugh, WR/KR Jeff Hughley, WR Larry Brackins, and FB Derrick Ross.  Even in the second half, they kept their lead.  The game ended with the Soul winning 62-48.  Overall, the Soul controlled the game and the stats show it.  The Soul had more possession time, first downs, offensive yards, and passing yards than the Shock.  The Shock were able to have more rushing yards than the Soul.  FB Derrick Ross had 11 carries, 83 yards, and 3 touchdowns.  Also, QB Dan Raudabaugh had a 72.7% completion/attempt rate, 5 touchdowns, 179 yards, and only 1 interception.  The Soul (14-3) have their franchise record, and they can extend it in their final game of the regular season at home against the Utah Blaze on July 22, 2012 at 6:05 PM.
