The NBA season has just ended as the Miami Heat are now two time champions. Teams try and prepare for the 2013-2014 season as the NBA off season kicks off. Each team tries to get stronger, tougher, and smarter before the NBA season gets under way. Big name free agents like Dwight Howard, Chris Paul, Andre Iguodala, Andrew Bynum, Al Jefferson, JR Smith, and many others.

Clippers Questions: How far will the Clippers go with Doc Rivers?
Chris Paul has resigned with the Clippers. Doc Rivers is the new coach for the L.A. Clippers, as he tries to bring the playoff team to the NBA finals. The Clippers have been knocked out the playoffs for the past 3 years and can’t make it out of the 2nd round! The Clippers agreed on a 3 team trade to send Eric Bledsoe to the Suns, Jared Dudley to the Clips, Caron Butler to the Suns, JJ Redick to the Clips, and the Bucks receiving two second rounders. Doc and Chris Paul looks to change things around.
As we all know, Dwight Howard is the biggest name free agent in the free agency market, who has just currently signed a 4 yr, $88 million dollar contract with the Houston Rockets. A few hours after the world was informed that Howard decision was to the Rockets; sources came out and said that Howard was 50/50 to resigning with the Lakers or the Rockets. Well came to find out, Dwight was going to be a Rocket regardless and made it clear that he wasn’t signing with the Lakers.
Rockets Grade: A
Questions: What will they do about Lin and Asik?
The Houston Rockets needed a quality big man over the years especially when Yao Ming left the franchise due to knee injuries. Dwight Howard, when healthy is the leagues best big man. He can rebound, play defense, and his offensive game can potentially get better. With Harden and a solid shooting core, the Rockets can be a top 10 team in the NBA automatically.
Warriors grade: B+
Questions: Will Klay or Barnes get traded?
Another big name free agent who signed is Andre Iguodala. Andre signed a 4yr, $48 million dollar contract with the Golden St Warriors. Stephen Curry and Iguodala have been friends since they both came into the league. The Warriors now have a deep front court with the addition of Iguodala.
Pelicans Grade: B
Questions: What will the Pelicans do with Eric Gordon?
Tyreke Evans is another free agent that signed. Evans will be playing with the New Orleans Pelicans. Evans is a great offensive player that can play the point guard, shooting guard, or even the small forward. Averaging a solid 15 points a game, Evans has the ability to score 20+ on any giving night.
