Barlotta’s Draft Corner: Week 12 NFL Mock Draft

skiles

First off I would like to introduce my self a little bit. I started here a few days ago and really intrigued an excited about all the pieces I will be writing about. I am a community college student majoring in Journalism, while also working for a few websites along the way. Hope you enjoy my articles as much as I do.

1. Jacksonville Jaguars- Marcus Mariota QB Oregon

– Yeah I said it. If he declares and it’s a big “if”. He will be if not the number one pick a top 3 pick. If Mariota can change a franchise; he is also more polished than any other college quarterback.

       2. Minnesota Vikings- Teddy Bridgewater QB Louisville

-If he is not pick #1, then he has to be #1a. He does not have many flaws, but one could be his decision making ability. He has made some Geno Smith type mistakes.

        3. Houston Texans- Jadaeveon Clowney DE South Carolina

               – Imagine this, J.J Watt and Clowney. Do I think this is the right choice? No. But I believe this is a pick they can’t pass up.

        4. Tampa Bay Buccaneers-  Zach Mettenberger QB LSU

             – Every “NCAA Draft Expert” has about 5 or 6 players each year. That they fall in love with. I believe Mettenberger really could be special. It would be exciting to see him in a offense like Tampa.

        5. Atlanta Falcons-  Anthony Barr OLB UCLA

           –  I believe the Falcons are at a point where they have to draft best player available, minus a few positions. They can use a solid outside guy. They lack the pass rush this year; which has been a real killer for them.

            6. St. Louis Rams-  Jake Matthews  T Texas A&M

              –  Giving Sam Bradford extra protection aside Jake Long could be invaluable for a team looking to take the next step. Matthews showed this year that he can play the Right side as well as the left.

              7. Buffalo Bills- Khalil Mack DE/OLB Buffalo

                  – This kid can ball. The Bills are in need of extra pass rush that isn’t just coming from Mario Williams. Look  for them to take the next step defensively if they add the right guy.

              8. Pittsburgh Steelers- Sammy Watkins WR Clemson

               –  Watkins fills the role of that up and down receiver they need. Him and Brown would be a lethal duo.

              9. Baltimore Ravens- Mike Evans WR Texas A&M

-As I mentioned on my twitter page, this guy is Vincent Jackson all over again. At 6’5 this kid is a moose.

            10. Cleveland Browns- Tajh Boyd QB Clemson

-Boyd would be picked by the Browns over Manziel. Boyd has shown with a good target to throw to he has lots of                   potential.

11.Tennessee Titans- Brett Hundley QB UCLA

12.Oakland Raiders- Derek Carr QB Fresno State

13.St. Louis Rams- Ha-Ha Clinton Dix S Alabama

14.San Diego Chargers- Bradley Roby CB Ohio State

15.New York Giants- Vic Beasley OLB Clemson

16.Green Bay Packers- Eric Ebron TE North Carolina

17.Miami Dolphins- Taylor Lewan T Michigan

18.Dallas Cowboys- Louis Nix DT Notre Dame

19.Chicago Bears- Ra’Shede Hageman DT Minnesota

20.Arizona Cardinals- Trent Murphy OLB Stanford

21.New York Jets- Marquise Lee WR USC

22.Philadelphia Eagles- Johnny Manziel QB Texas A&M

23.Detroit Lions- Davonte Adams WR Fresno State

24.Cincinnati Bengals- Ifo Ekpre Olomu CB Oregon

25.San Franscisco 49ers- Jason Verrett CB TCU

26.New England Patriots- Kyle Van Noy OLB BYU

27.Carolina Panthers- D’Anthony Thomas OW Oregon

28.Cleveland Browns: Brandon Coleman WR Rutgers

29.New Orleans Saints: Scott Crighton OLB Oregon State

30.Kansas City Chiefs- Cyrus Kouandjio T Alabama

31.Denver Broncos- Gabe Jackson C Mississippi State

       32. Seattle Seahawks- C.J Mosley ILB Alabama
