After the Chicago Bears defeated the Dallas Cowboys last night, it gave the Philadelphia Eagles sole possession of first place in the NFC East.

The win also helped the Chicago Bears as they are now 7-6 and right behind the Detroit Lions for first place in the NFC North. With all that stated, NBC has decided to have these two teams battle it out on December 22nd on Sunday Night Football.

This game has big playoff implications for each team in their respective divisions, it’s a must win. The game was originally scheduled on December 22nd at 1:00 pm but it has been flexed which means the Patriots-Ravens that was scheduled for SNF that week has been moved to 4:25 pm on CBS.

The craziness of this all is not over as even after this game; there will probably be playoff spots still to be settled. If you don’t know the Eagles take on the Dallas Cowboys, while the Bears take on the Green Bay Packers in Week 17. High chances are one of these two games will be flexed but the Week 16 matchup will be interesting as both teams seem to be playing at a high level.
