Holley, is ranked as the 87th top recruit in the class of 2014 in the ESPN 300. Holley’s final two programs were Penn State and Florida and he finally picked PSU on Monday.
Holley, is ranked by ESPN as the 7th best defensive tackle in 2014 and is the third defensive lineman to commit to the Nittany Lions along with Tarow Barney and Antoine White.
His commitment helps fill voids of DaQuan Jones and Kyle Bauiblitz that will not be returning to the team next season. His commitment adds to a class that has been quietly superb for Penn State this season, as he joins De’Andre Thompkins , Michael O’Connor and Chris Goodwin as players in the ESPN 300. According to ESPN’s rating, Penn State does not have one commit that is ranked lower than a three-star.
Other schools interested in the DT were Alabama, Clemson, Notre Dame , Ohio State and basically anywhere you can think of.
