Former Penn State wide receiver Allen Robinson has decided to skip his senior year of college to enter the 2014 NFL Draft.
Here’s what Robinson said on Twitter today, shortly after the news broke.
It was a honor to wear a penn state uniform for 3 years. I will miss my teammates and coaches, blessed for the opportunity and experience!

It is also worth showing you what Robinson said on December 31st, shortly after we found out that Bill O’Brien is leaving Penn State.
Welp, it’s been real

O’Brien leaving definitely had an affect on Robinson’s decision to leave. It seemed rather likely that Robinson would have left even if O’Brien had decided to stay, but O’Brien leaving was probably the deal-breaker.
Allen Robinson achieved many things in his three year stint with the Nittany Lions; he was the Richter-Howard Receiver of the Year in 2012 and 2013; he was an NCAA All-American in 2013; he was a part of the All Big Ten First Team in 2012 and 2013; he is the record holder in two Penn State single season categories: Receptions (97 in 2013), and receiving yards (1,432 in 2013).
It is obvious that Allen Robinson had an amazing college career, and I am definitely expecting him to take the NFL by storm.
