Even though the Philadelphia Eagles are out of the playoffs, the NFL is still dishing out fines. Their latest addition to the fine list was cornerback Cary Williams.

If you remember, Williams’ horse collar tackle happened after the Eagles took the lead in the 4th quarter and they kicked off the ball to New Orleans Saints running back Darren Sproles.

If Williams did not horse collar Sproles, then he would have went the distance. Cary Williams was fined $15,750 but if you remember he wanted to stop Sproles at any cost.

As we know how the story goes it really didn’t matter as the Saints would march down the field and Shayne Graham would kick the game winning field goal. The Saints would go on to win 26-24 and send the Eagles home packing.

The New Orleans Saints now have to take on the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC Divisional Playoffs.
