With free agency officially kicking off at 4:00 pm ET today, the transactions are coming through at a tremendous rate. For the Tennessee Titans, they have kicked off free agency with a bang signing former Kansas City Chief Dexter McCluster. McCluster who is a playmaker in the receiving and return game will bring life to the Titans’ offense.
It sounds like the end of the Chris Johnson era to me. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, McCluster is getting a three year contract worth up to $12 million.
Tennessee is giving WR/KR Dexter McCluster a McCluster a 3-year deal worth up to $12 million, including $4.5 million guaranteed.

McCluster provides excitement to Tennessee and it gives Jake Locker another weapon. Already the Titans have Kendall Wright and Kenny Britt at the wide receiver position. Now adding McCluster gives them a toy that they can use in whatever fashion they may choose.
Last season with Kansas City, McCluster had 53 receptions for 511 receiving yards and two touchdowns. In the return game for Kansas City, McCluster had 686 punt return yards and two touchdowns.
Over his entire career with the Chiefs, McCluster had 1,500 receiving, 959 punt return, 1,087 return, and 662 rushing yards.
