With the release of Patrick Chung, you knew something was going to happen and it finally did. Malcolm Jenkins, who has been in the NFL for five years, has been a pretty consistent cornerback and safety for the New Orleans Saints.
Only in his rookie year did Jenkins play cornerback. After that, he has played the free safety position. This past season, Jenkins played and started in 14 games. He had 2.5 sacks, two interceptions, five pass deflections, two forced fumbles, and 48 tackles. What this all means is that he is a playmaker all over the field.
Expect the Eagles to not be done in free agency as there will more moves taking place.
