Desean Jackson has signed with the Washington Redskins. Just a few days after being released by the Eagles, the 3-time Pro Bowl wide receiver has signed with his former division rival.

Jackson arrived in DC late Monday afternoon and went out to dinner with General Manager Bruce Allen, Head Coach Jay Gruden, and several other high-ranking Redskins officials.  He also met with Redskins coaches to go over how they would plan on using him in their offense.

After the dinner, Jackson spent time in DC with Redskins’ Pierre Garcon, DeAngelo Hall, and DC rapper Wale. Tuesday morning, Jackson underwent a physical with the training staff. Jackson also met with Redskins owner Daniel Snyder and General Manager Bruce Allen Tuesday afternoon. Jackson’s agent arrived at Redskins Park Tuesday afternoon to talk numbers with Bruce Allen and reached an agreement late Tuesday night. Jackson will play opposite Pierre Garcon and provide an excellent deep threat for RGIII, who may have played a pivotal role in the signing after their time spent together in LA before Jackson’s visit.
