We have some news from Sixerville today, as according to RealGM, league sources have told them that the Philadelphia 76ers will not re-sign James Nunnally for the reminder of the season.
In nine games for the Philadelphia 76ers, Nunnally averaged three points and shot 33.3 percent from three point range. His best game in a Sixers uniform was on March 19th against the Chicago Bulls. In that game, Nunnally scored eight points in 21 minutes. In his last game which was last night versus the Brooklyn Nets, he scored three points and had two assists in nine minutes.
Nunnally definitely has NBA talent as he was also called up by the Atlanta Hawks this season. In the D-League, he played for the Bakersfield Jam and the Texas Legends. During his combined time with both teams, he averaged 18.1 points per game in 33.6 minutes per game. Also he shot 41.6 percent from three point range.
Nunnally is talented and it will be interesting to see if he plays for a NBA team this season or in the summer league.
