When taking a look at the schedule at first glance, the Eagles start off the season against the Jaguars. Most likely, they will be playing against a rookie quarterback. Will that quarterback be Teddy Bridgewater or Johnny Manziel, we will see. Then two weeks later, they play against the Redskins at Lincoln Financial Field which shall be a good one. This will be the return of Desean Jackson and he will have something to prove against his former team.

Another thing that caught my eye was after the bye week, they have a two game road trip against the Texans and Cardinals. That means the Eagles will get the chance to play against the number one overall pick. Will it be Jadeveon Clowney, Teddy Bridgewater or Johnny Manziel, again who knows?

Then on Thanksgiving; they play the Dallas Cowboys at 4:30 pm ET. Usually, it’s the Cowboys playing either the Redskins or Raiders on Thanksgiving, hopefully Eagles fans will have something to be thankful for.

Finally, the Eagles will get to play the Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks at Lincoln Financial Field in Week 14. This could be a game that determines playoff seeding and it will be a matchup between two former Pac-12 coaches in Pete Carroll and Chip Kelly.

Anyway, the Philadelphia Eagles schedule is not easy and they have many tests to clear to make it back to the playoffs. Chip Kelly and company will be under the microscope this season as they try to go to the Super Bowl and win the Lombardi trophy.
