<![CDATA[Is there an upcoming move coming for the Philadelphia Phillies? It just might be, with the broken left collarbone injury to Freddy Galvis and now infielder Jayson Nix has been outrighted to Triple-A Lehigh Valley. Nix has the option to become a free agent. According to Phillies beat writer Kevin Cooney, there will be a move to replace Nix tomorrow.

Nix was acquired by the Phillies via trade from the Tampa Bay Rays. In 18 games with the Phillies, Nix has been average to say the least. He has a .154 batting average, a home run and two RBI. Definitely not dominating numbers that you want from your utility infielder.
So what other option do the Phillies have to replace Nix? Well, that option could be Cesar Hernandez as Kevin Cooney mentions.
Don’t see it as Ruf.. Cedeno has struggled at Lehigh valley. Maybe Hernandez?

Hernandez has been tearing the ball off the cover in Double-A Reading. In 25 games with Reading, Hernandez is hitting .357 with three home runs and 14 RBI.
This might just have to be the best solution for the Phillies until Galvis gets back from injury.
