Report: Dante Exum and Marcus Smart to workout for Philadelphia 76ers

With the fallout of Joel Embiid going through surgery on his foot, many fans and analysts are wondering where he will go and who will go number one.

For the Philadelphia 76ers, their draft board might have changed up slightly as many people expect Andrew Wiggins and Jabari Parker to go 1 and 2. If that happens, it leaves the Sixers with the third overall pick and many people think they will take international superstar Dante Exum from Australia.

With that being said, according to Marc J. Spears of Yahoo Sports, both Dante Exum and Marcus Smart are going to workout individually for the Sixers on Sunday.

Shockingly, both players could be options for the Sixers at 3. The Sixers would be more inclined to take Exum with the third overall pick rather and not Smart who would be a reach at that spot.

Both players can play the point guard position but for the Philadelphia 76ers they do not need a point guard because they have reigning Rookie of the Year award winner Michael Carter-Williams. If you look at the shooting guard position, that is a need for the Sixers. Maybe Exum or Smart can transition to play the two for the Sixers if they are selected.
