Today, the New York Knicks who have been playing great basketball in the Las Vegas Summer League continued that great play against the Charlotte Hornets. The Knicks defeated the Hornets 95-72; New York’s record is now 3-0 while Charlotte’s is 0-3.

The Knicks had offensive outburst as it started early with point guard Shane Larkin leading the way as New York was up 17-3 in the first quarter. As the game progressed into the second quarter, former St. Joe Hawk Langston Galloway came off the bench and had a tremendous game in which his Knicks’ teammates were delighted to see.

The former Hawk had 17 points in 20 minutes off the bench for the Knicks. Galloway also had a very efficient day from the field shooting 7 of 10 and 1 of 2 from the three point line.

If Galloway can keep up his tremendous play for the rest of the Summer League, he should at least get a training camp invite from the Knicks as they have a new head coach in Derek Fisher.

If Langston Galloway makes the Knicks, he can help them as a backup shooting guard in the future. Galloway also could be a sixth man in the future as he can score in bunches but there is a lot of young talent on this Knicks roster currently.
