As if the Tampa Bay Buccaneers could afford anymore bad news today since their 56-14 loss last night to the Atlanta Falcons, they will be without their starting quarterback for a while.
According to FOXSports.com senior NFL reporter Alex Marvez, quarterback Josh McCown is expected to miss several weeks with an injured thumb.

In last night’s game, McCown would go on to throw for 58 yards and one interception. In the regular season thus far, he has not done a good job. He has two touchdowns, four interceptions, 420 passing yards and a quarterback rating of 65.8. Those numbers will not win many football games.
With McCown being out for an extended period of time, it will be the Mike Glennon show. In last night’s game, even though it was a rout, Glennon was 17 of 24 for 121 yards and a touchdown. Last season under Greg Schiano, Glennon played well throwing for 2,608 yards, 19 touchdowns and 9 interceptions.
Hopefully, the Bucs can put this 56-14 shellacking behind them as they will be taking on the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 4.
