Philadelphia Eagles vs. Houston Texans Injury Report

Before, the Philadelphia Eagles take on the Houston Texans on Sunday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. ET, both teams released their injury reports.

For the Eagles, they expect the likes of center Jason Kelce, running back Darren Sproles, and right guard Todd Herremans to play on Sunday but they are all listed as probable. If you remember, Kelce is coming back from sports hernia surgery, Sproles suffered a MCL sprain in the game versus the New York Giants and this week we found out that Herremans is dealing with torn biceps in his left arm.

The right guard is going to try and tough it out and play on Sunday. On the defensive side of the ball for the Eagles, safety Nate Allen is dealing with a hamstring injury and is listed as questionable. We will most likely find out his prognosis on gameday. If Allen does not play then expect second-year player Earl Wolff to get the start.

Allen has not practiced this entire week and Wolff has taken most of the first team reps. Also you might see safety Chris Maragos or rookie cornerback Jaylen Watkins get some snaps at safety as head coach Chip Kelly noted this week.

Finally, for the Texans, rookie linebacker Jadeveon Clowney is listed as questionable as he is dealing with an illness. Head coach Bill O’Brien made it seem like the rookie might be doubtful for Sunday’s game. Also linebacker Brian Cushing, who has a knee injury is listed as questionable as he missed last week’s game.
