In a wild night of college football thus far, more craziness has ensued. Right now, the No. 17 Utah Utes are taking on the No. 4 Oregon Ducks. The Utes took an early 7-0 lead over the Ducks as running back Bubba Poole ran for eight yards to the end zone.
Then on Utah’s third drive of the game, quarterback Travis Wilson found wide receiver Kaelin Clay for a 78 yard touchdown as it seemed like he was in the end zone on first glance. But before Clay had reached the end zone, he dropped the ball on the one yard line.

Clay’s drop before the end zone reminds us of what DeSean Jackson did against the Dallas Cowboys and what Leon Lett did versus Buffalo Bills in the Super Bowl. If Utah ends up losing by less than a touchdown, fans and analysts alike will remember Clay’s drop. On the flip side, Oregon continued to keep playing and took Clay’s fumble to the end zone for a 100 yard return for a touchdown.
