Barry Church says Eagles’ offense is real simple

The Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles have a huge week 14 matchup on Sunday night, where the NFC East division lead is on the line.

If the Eagles win, it would put them two games in front of the Cowboys for the division crown but if the Cowboys win then the last two games of the regular season becomes crucial. On Thanksgiving Day, the Eagles smashed the Cowboys 33-10 as Philadelphia’s offense run up and down on Dallas’s defense.

Yesterday, Cowboys safety Barry Church was on the Jim Rome Show and talked about the upcoming matchup. Rome asked him about many things including how this game is a must win for the Cowboys.

“It’s definitely a must win,” Church said. “I feel like either we are going to get in or they or going to get in from our division.”

Later in the conversation, Rome asked Church about the Eagles’ offense and here was his response to that.

“I feel like it’s a real simple offense. They really run about 3 or 4 plays, but they run it at such a high tempo it forces defenses to take a breath here or take a play off and that’s where they hit you.”

“They run it so fast and so efficient it gets you off your schemes and you become undisciplined like we did in that first game and they hit for huge yardages.”

The Eagles running game did have a huge game especially running back LeSean McCoy, who had 159 yards on 25 carries and a touchdown. For the Eagles to win on Sunday it is simple, the running game must get started early. For the Cowboys to have a chance, on defense, they have to stop the Eagles ‘real simple offense.’

All I am going to say is don’t let this simple offense fool you because they can put up 45 points in a blink of an eye or 33 points like Dallas fans saw on Thanksgiving Day.
