Barlotta’s Draft Corner: Final First Round Mock Draft

Cory

1. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Jameis Winston QB, FSU

– The Buccaneers get “Their Guy”. There really isn’t any discussion here.

2. Tennessee Titans: Marcus Mariota QB, Oregon

– The Titans will have a lot of offers to field. But, when it is all set and done none of them will be good enough to let Mariota slip past them.

3. Jacksonville Jaguars: Leonard Williams DT, USC

– Gus Bradley will be thrilled to have this behemoth fall to him. Williams might be the best player in the draft.

4. Oakland Raiders: Amari Cooper WR, Alabama

– Amari is a great to player to help propel Derek Carr to the next level as a quarterback. He is the best receiver in the draft class and should be an immediate upgrade to their receiver corps.

5. Washington Redskins: Vic Beasley EDGE, Clemson

– This will be a debate between Fowler & Beasley. But, I believe Beasley is a guy that the Redskins feel like can help them towards the future, especially with Brian Orakpo just leaving.

6. New York Jets: Dante Fowler EDGE, Florida

– The Jets get a guy that they may have thought they would have to trade up for. This is the perfect extra piece for Bowles’ defense.

7. Chicago Bears: Kevin White WR, WVU

– The Bears immediately find a replacement for Brandon Marshall. Kevin White will be a force lined up alongside Alshon Jeffery.

8. Atlanta Falcons: Alvin Dupree EDGE, Kentucky

– Alvin “Bud” Dupree is a project, but is a good project. His future could be as bright as Aldon Smith. He is the perfect player for the rising Atlanta Falcons.

9. New York Giants: Brandon Scherff OT, Iowa

– The Giants need help all over. Scherff helps them out immensely. He can play guard or tackle which are both needs for the New York football Giants.

10. St. Louis Rams: Trae Waynes CB, Michigan State

– Trae Waynes next to Janoris Jenkins is something you dream about. Those pair of corners could be lethal for the next 7-10 years.

11. Minnesota Vikings: DeVante Parker WR, Louisville
12. Cleveland Browns: Danny Shelton DT, Washington
13. New Orleans Saints: Arik Armstead DL, Oregon
14. Miami Dolphins: Andrus Peat OT, Stanford
