With the college basketball season coming to a close earlier this month, it is now time to look forward to next season as early season tournaments and games are being announced.
The Villanova Wildcats along with the Oklahoma Sooners, Navy Midshipmen, and Oregon Ducks will be playing in Pearl Harbor on December 7, 2015, which marks the 74th anniversary of the attack.
Villanova will lead off the double-header taking on Oklahoma. This game promises to be a good matchup as the Wildcats will be leaning on Ryan Arcidiacono, Daniel Ochefu, and Josh Hart, while the Sooners will be trying to make another NCAA tournament run with Buddy Hield returning to school. This will be a great early season test for both teams as it will be a great resume win for whoever wins.
Finally, the second game of the double-header will be Navy versus Oregon. The games will be held at Bloch Arena, where the base is located at and where the 1941 bombings took place.
