Former La Salle guard Ramon Galloway to play for Chicago Bulls in Las Vegas Summer League

Bob Contract Plot 1

With the Orlando and Utah Summer Leagues already underway, the Las Vegas Summer League is coming up soon.

One of the teams competing in the Vegas Summer League will be the Chicago Bulls. The Bulls have a new head coach in Fred Hoiberg after letting go Tom Thibodeau. will get a chance to see some young talent that could help his team this upcoming season.

One of those players is guard Ramon Galloway from La Salle University. Galloway was a part of that magical ride in 2012-13, where the Explorers went to the Sweet 16. Galloway transferred to La Salle after spending his first two years at South Carolina. Once Galloway got to La Salle, he took his game to another level.

In his two years at La Salle, Galloway averaged 15.7 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 3.6 assists in 33.3 minutes per game.

After his senior year, Galloway went undrafted in the 2013 NBA Draft but spent some time with the Denver Nuggets in the Summer League. Shortly after, he would go on to play overseas with BC Igokea and then the Fraport Skyliners.

With Igokea, Galloway averaged 5.0 points in 17.4 minutes. Finally, with Fraport, he averaged 9.8 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 2.0 assists in 25.0 minutes per game, while starting in 13 out of 24 games. This past season, Galloway played for Orsi Derthona Basket Tortona in the Italy-A2 Silver League, where he averaged 14.9 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 3.0 assists in 28.3 minutes per game.

If Galloway stands out and plays well with the Bulls in the Summer League, the NBA could be calling his name this season.
