This year in the National Football League, it’s been a little difficult to navigate which teams can actually be believed in. In many cases, this year has been like the Republican field of presidential candidates. There’s the old household names that you’re familiar with (Patriots, Broncos, Packers), the new and exciting upstarts (Bengals, Panthers), and then there are just the teams where you have no idea of their agenda (Falcons, Rams).
Just like the Republican presidential campaign, there’s been a lot of debate and conversation about which team or teams can truly be believed in. (Short preview: Sorry, Atlanta Falcons. You’re not to be believed in for a while. Please report to the back of the line.) It’s not easy to wade through this marsh alone. Working with all the fine folks at Total Sports Live definitely helps, but sometimes, you want to bring in independent contractors.
In no way am I this site’s Anderson Cooper when it comes to figuring out the NFL landscape, but after nine weeks, a decent handle of the situation could be expected. Then again, maybe not. As you all probably remember, I bet on Zach Mettenberger last week. (Yes. I spent hard earned cash on Zach Mettenberger to win a game. I’m not proud of it, but I did. Thankfully that mistake is behind me, and I’ll never do it again.)
Here to help me (and all of you) pinpoint the real deals, the “not so much”-es, and the “no chance in hell”-s is my brother, Attiba Royster, who joins me on another round of “Is this NFL Team Really Good?” It was a lot of fun the first time around, and people actually seemed to enjoy it — those fans who we made happy with our praise, anyway. Others weren’t so pleased. That’s the breaks, though. Sometimes you believe in a candidate or a team that’s faulty. It has happened before. It will happen again.

(Dear Green Bay Packers fans: Please direct your angry tweets at Attiba, not me. Thank you. I tried to reason with him. I really did.)
