Welcome to a special edition of the Eagles weekly recap where we will sum up every transaction involving the Philadelphia Eagles this week. EVP of personnel Howie Roseman was a very busy man this week, and there was certainly a lot done, so let’s get right into it:
Monday, March 7
- Cornerback Byron Maxwell, linebacker Kiko Alonso, and the 2016 13th overall draft pick traded to the Miami Dolphins for the 2016 eighth overall draft pick.
- Running back DeMarco Murray and 15th draft pick in the fourth round traded to the Tennessee Titans for the second draft pick in the fourth round.
Tuesday, March 8
- Former Buffalo Bills cornerback Leodis McKelvin signs two-year, $6 million deal with the Eagles.
Wednesday, March 9
- Eagles and former Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Chase Daniel agree to a three-year, $21 million deal, with another $15 million in incentives.
- Former Rams safety Rodney McLeod joins the Eagles on a five-year, $37 million deal with $17 million guaranteed.
- Eagles sign guard Brandon Brooks to a five-year, $40 million deal, including $21 million guaranteed.
- Former Buffalo Bills linebacker Nigel Bradham joins the Eagles on a two year deal.
- Eagles snag their third former Bill of the week, signing cornerback Ron Brooks to a three-year deal worth $5.55 million with $1.55 million guaranteed.
Thursday, March 10
- Former Eagles defensive end Cedric Thornton agrees to a four-year, $18 million deal with the Dallas Cowboys.
Friday, March 11
- Eagles trade quarterback Mark Sanchez to the Denver Broncos for a conditional seventh-round pick in the 2017 draft.
- Eagles release defensive end Brandon Bair after two seasons with the team.
Now that the Eagles have made a splash in free-agency, expect all attention to be turned to the 2016 NFL Draft.
