Eagles weekly recap: McNabb speaks, Injuries, Former Eagle finds new home

.

Welcome back to another edition of the Eagles weekly recap. The Eagles are set to take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Lincoln Financial Field in four days, but before that happens, some players have to get healthy first.

Let’s take a look:
  • Former Eagles quarterback Nick Foles finds a new home. After Foles was released by the Los Angeles Rams, there were a lot of reports going around that the Dallas Cowboys were interested in the former Eagle. Well, that did not come to fruition as Foles spurned the Cowboys and reunited with his former coach Andy Reid in Kansas City. With the Chiefs, Foles will be looking to solidify himself as the backup to Alex Smith as Kansas City has five quarterbacks on their roster.
  • Lastly, in this week’s recap, the Eagles could be upgrading the linebacker unit very soon. On Saturday evening, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that the Eagles are in “heavy negotiations” with former Detroit Lions linebacker Stephen Tulloch. If the Eagles can sign Tulloch, it will give them much-needed depth at the position.

That’s it for this week. Stay tuned with Total Sports Live for the latest involving the Philadelphia Eagles.
