Since the franchise moved to Tennessee, four players have led the Titans in rushing — Eddie George, Chris Brown, Travis Henry and LenDale White.
George will be a candidate for the Hall of Fame and I don’t think there’s any way one of the others gets more votes than him, but I’m including them in the poll simply because they have all had 1,000-yard seasons to lead the team in rushing.
George’s stats listed below do not include those compiled as a Houston Oiler or Dallas Cowboy. Henry’s stats do not include those in his stints with the Buffalo Bills or Denver Broncos.
Stats | Gms | Strts | Atts | Yrds | Avg | Lng | TD | Rec | Yds | Avg |
Eddie George | 112 | 112 | 2,398 | 8,641 | 3.6 | 40 | 56 | 236 | 1962 | 8.3 |
Chris Brown | 54 | 29 | 643 | 2,757 | 4.3 | 52 | 16 | 74 | 667 | 9.0 |
Travis Henry | 24 | 14 | 358 | 1,546 | 4.3 | 70 | 7 | 31 | 195 | 6.3 |
LenDale White | 29 | 16 | 364 | 1,354 | 3.7 | 28 | 7 | 34 | 174 | 5.1 |
In our last poll, as expected, you voted for Steve McNair to be the Titans’ all-time quarterback.
