Brandon Jones has been an enigma in his three years as a Tennessee Titan. Possessing tantalizing ability, Jones has failed to turn potential into production so far in his NFL career.
Inconsistency and injuries have been the name of the game for Jones. You can now add non-football matters to the list of Brandons problems as a result of his recent arrest for carrying a loaded .32 caliber handgun at Nashville International Airport.
Entering his fourth season, its well past time for Jones to step up and emerge as a key factor in the Titans passing game.

Entering his fourth year as a pro, Jones is still having problems focusing on the playing field. In his assessment of the Titans WR position last month, Mike Heimerdinger made the following statement about Brandon Jones:
“Brandon makes a big play everyday, but he has to block in the run and he has to be consistent catching the ball he cant make a mental mistake everyday.”
Considering the highly-competitive battle at WR, Jones will need to improve if he expects to be a consistent target of Vince Youngs passes in 2008.
With the Justin-duo (Gage, McCareins) already making a great first impression on Dinger and hungry younger receivers such as Biren Ealy, Paul Williams and Lavelle Hawkins vying for time on the field, Jones is going to have to fight off a ton of competition in his attempt to see significant playing time next season.
Last week, Jones made the headlines because of an off-the-field issue. As a fourth-year pro, its time for Brandon to make noise on the football field.
