According to several media reports, the Tennessee Titans’ very own Jim Schwartz has been assigned the unenviable task of righting the ship of the 0-16 Detroit Lions.
Schwartz is well-deserving of an opportunity to coach in the NFL. He’s a smart guy and judging by recent comments, he’s more than willing to take on the responsibility of turning things around in Motown.
As for the Titans, they have a few in-house options at their disposal in the search for Jim’s replacement. Current Titan defensive assistants Dave McGinnis and Chuck Cecil are perhaps the best bets to fill Schwartz’s shoes.
Another potential replacement, former Titan DC Gregg Williams, is no longer available as a result of his decision to become the new defensive coordinator of the New Orleans Saints.
