The final injury report is out for this Sunday’s game against the Raiders, and here’s what it looks like:
OAKLAND RAIDERS
OUT: LB Travis Goethel (back), CB Walter McFadden (hamstring), WR Chaz Schillens (knee)
QUESTIONABLE: DT Desmond Bryant (elbow), RB Michael Bush (thumb)
Both Bryant and Bush participated in Friday’s practice on a limited basis. Bush may wear a brace to protect his hand, but even with a brace he may have trouble holding on to the football. His absence would likely mean a bigger load for Darren McFadden.
TENNESSEE TITANS
OUT: T Mike Otto (knee)
QUESTIONABLE: DT Tony Brown (knee), DE William Hayes (knee), LB Colin Allred (ankle)
PROBABLE: G Leroy Harris (ankle), DE Jacob Ford (back), WR Justin Gage (hand)
Brown and Hayes did not participate in Friday’s practice, while Allred, Harris, Ford, and Gage all fully participated in practice. If you want shorthand as to who’s most likely to play, I think that’s a pretty good guideline. Harris was upgraded from questionable to probable while I was writing this post, so I’d expect him to start. His status may have been the reason Ryan Durand made the team. If Hayes truly can’t go, Jason Babin is listed behind him on the depth chart and may get the start, while Sen’Derrick Marks may start next to Jason Jones at DT for Brown.
Will Witherspoon will play despite missing practice this week after the death of his mother. All of us here at Total Titans send our condolences to Will on his loss and will be rooting for him to do well on Sunday.
