We already know which teams the Titans would play, and now we now the order they’re going to play them in. Here they are, including the television network that will broadcast the game:

Oct. 21: at Buffalo Bills (CBS)
Oct. 28: vs. Indianapolis Colts (CBS)
Nov. 4: vs. Chicago Bears (FOX)
Nov. 11: at Miami Dolphins (CBS)
Nov. 18: BYE
Nov. 25*: at Jacksonville Jaguars (CBS)
Dec. 2*: vs. Houston Texans (CBS)
Dec. 9*: at Indianapolis Colts (CBS)
Dec. 17 (Monday): vs. New York Jets (ESPN)

Unlike last year, the Titans get two prime-time games, Oct. 11 against the Steelers and Dec. 17 against the Jets, both at home. All non-prime-time games are currently set for noon CT kickoff except the game at San Diego. The Titans are not currently scheduled to appear on NBC’s Sunday Night Football; I’ve marked with an asterisk the games that could be flexed. Unless the season finale against the Jaguars is somehow for a playoff berth, the only game that in my mind has any chance of getting flexed is the Week 16 matchup at Lambeau Field.
As I’ve mentioned before, my interest in the schedule is primarily personal travel-related. The game at the Texans is at a nice time for the first time since I seriously considered going in the 2008 season. I’ll almost certainly go to the game in Indianapolis again. I’d planned on going to Lambeau, but the Dec. 23 date makes that problematic. My annual pilgrimage to LP Field will probably be the for the Bears game; if I’m not going to Houston, I might pick the Lions game instead.
f you want to go all “rabble rabble rabble” over the schedule, three of the Titans’ first four games are against 2011 playoff teams and the other is a long road trip to San Diego, which went 8-8 last year. The Titans then play their second consecutive road game and have to play a fourth playoff game in the Steelers coming off a short week. Plus, they don’t have a stretch of three straight home games at any point and go almost a month between home games in November and December. Rabble rabble rabble.
