After the jump, the normal analysis.
1. Shonn Greene only carried the ball on 5 of his 18 snaps. It's the second game in a row where the majority of the time he's been in the game the Titans haven't handed the ball to him.
2. Taylor Thompson far surpassed his previous season high of 25 snaps set Week 1 thanks to Craig Stevens' concussion.
3. Damian Williams' return might help, but the Titans are in a bit of a bind at WR4. Kenny Britt's two drops yesterday hurt his cause for more playing time, and I don't know if Devon Wylie's going to be here next week, so he's certainly not an option. They'll have to continue to rely on Justin Hunter as the WR3 and the continued health of Nate Washington and Kendall Wright. I'd think about whether you really need 9 defensive linemen and 7 linebackers, though I also don't believe in an even split between offense and defense the way the Titans do.
4. Remember when Mike Martin was going to take a big step forward in his second season? That seems like a long time ago.
5. Moise Fokou's return sent Colin McCarthy to the bench, at least when the defense was on the field. I'd have to take a closer look at how Fokou played to see how he held up, but based on McCarthy's play this season, this was the right move.
6. Raiders WR3 Brice Butler: 17 snaps. Nickel CB Coty Sensabaugh: 16 snaps. Witchcraft!
7. George Wilson's 9 snaps were the most he played since he started for Griffin against the Rams, and this may have been the most he played in either a sub role (either Big Nickel or Ruby) since the Week 5 contest against the Chiefs.
