The inactives are out for today's game at LP Field between the Tennessee Titans and the Houston Texans, and here they are:
HOUSTON TEXANS: RB Dennis Johnson, QB Case Keenum, G Alex Kupper, ILB Joe Mays, FB Toben Opurum, WR DeVier Posey, G Cody White
TENNESSEE TITANS: WR Kenny Britt, DT Jurrell Casey, C Kevin Matthews, WR Michael Preston, RT David Stewart, QB Tyler Wilson, CB Khalid Wooten
For the Texans, the big news is clearly that Matt Schaub will be starting at quarterback, as Case Keenum's thumb injury is bad enough he will not play. Dennis Johnson and Joe Mays are also inactive after being listed as questionable on the injury report. Johnson's injury means that for the second season in a row the Titans' Week 17 opponent will be starting a total "who's that" at running back.
For the Titans, no big surprises. Jurrell Casey and David Stewart both missed practice all week, so seeing them miss a near-meaningless game with a questionable listing is not a surprise.
As was the case for last year's pretty meaningless finale between two teams playing out the stretch, my preview for today's game is "Who cares, wins." That's the Titans.
Feel free to leave your comments here during today's game. I'll be chiming in mostly on Twitter, so follow and yap at me there if you so desire as we watch what I believe to be Mike Munchak's final game as Titans head coach.
