Programming note: I’ll start with the real season review stuff once calendar year 2015 begins.
Given the current parameters of the NFL schedule, opponents are mostly set. We know the Titans will be playing each of their divisional opponents at home and on the road, four games, two each at home and on the road, against both another AFC division and an NFC division according to a preset schedule. Unless the NFL changes things up, we know the Titans will be playing the AFC North (their AFC opponent this year) again in 2017 and the NFC East (their NFC opponent this year) again in 2018. Only the two rotating games, where they play the teams with the same placing in the other AFC divisions, are really unknown before the season begins.
Still, we do know finally, for sure who the Titans will be playing next year. Those opponents, with H denoting games to be played at LP Field and A games on the road:
Atlanta (H)
Buffalo (H)
Carolina (H)
Cleveland (A)
Houston (H and A)
Indianapolis (H and A)
Jacksonville (H and A)
Miami (H)
New England (A)
New Orleans (A)
New York Jets (A)
Oakland (H)
Tampa Bay (A)
