The Tennessee Titans will have their first AFC South divisional game this weekend when they host Andrew Luck and the high-powered Indianapolis Colts. It is the fourth least expensive Titans tickets on the secondary market for the remainder of the season, according to TiqIQ.com.
The average ticket price for this divisional showdown is currently $120.16 with a get-in price of $46 for entrance into LP Field on Sunday, September 27. Titans tickets on the secondary market have lower average prices for a December game against the Houston Texans at home, a road game against Indianapolis in January and a December game against the Jaguars at LP Field. With it being one of the cheapest games of the season, it’s an opportune time to create a Titans road trip for this Sunday’s game. The cheapest Indianapolis flights can be found on Hipmunk.com, in addition to hotels near Lucas Oil Stadium to create the most economical trip.
It will be the first time Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota gets a chance to respond after a loss, after his first career defeat in Week 2 against the Cleveland Browns, 28-14. Mariota has still yet to be intercepted, completing 21-of-37 passes for 257 yards and two touchdowns last week, but he did lose two fumbles, not to mention a third fumble that one of his teammates was fortunately able to secure.
The Colts have had a stronghold on the AFC South division since Luck and Peyton Manning have lined up as the quarterback, but in a season with Super Bowl aspirations, their 0-2 start is one of the more surprising storylines around the league. After a poor performance in Week 1 on the road in Buffalo, the Colts got bullied on Monday Night Football by the New York Jets in basically every aspect of the game. Even more surprising, that most recent effort came in front of the hometown fans on prime time.
The Titans rushed for 166 yards on the ground on 30 carries against the Browns and received great production out of Dexter McCluster, rushing 10 times for 98 yards. Mariota had trouble working with his receivers last week, as tight end Anthony Fasano led the team with five receptions for 84 yards and a touchdown. Chase Coffman, another tight end, had four catches and Justin Hunter led the wide receivers with two catches.
Tennessee will receive a boost if Indianapolis cornerback Vontae Davis misses the game, as he had to leave Monday night’s contest against the Jets. Brandon Marshall proceeded to feast on the Indianapolis secondary, where there is a huge drop off in talent with Davis not on the field. This could pave the way for Mariota to continue his early-season success.
