Preseason: Wolves 93, Grizzlies 101

Tonight will be a challenge for our team in that two of our point
guards (Randy Foye and Sebastian Telfair) are out with minor injuries.
That leaves Marko Jaric as the only point guard. This also gives us an
opportunity to see who else on our team can step up and fill the "point
guard" role in an emergency.

From the AP recap:
Juan Carlos Navarro and Rudy Gay both scored 22 points and the Memphis
Grizzlies used a fourth-quarter rally to beat the Minnesota
Timberwolves 101-93 on Monday night.
Mike Miller added 14 points for the Grizzlies, while Darko Milicic finished with 10.
Al Jefferson and Marko Jaric both scored 17 points to lead Minnesota
with Jefferson also grabbing 15 rebounds. Rashad McCants added 15
points and Ricky Davis had 14, all in the first half, for the
Timberwolves.

Jerry Zgoda/Star Tribune on Jaric starting at point guard because Foye and Telfair were out:
Without them, Jaric assumed a starting position at what he calls his
natural position and delivered a 35-minute, 17-point, three-assist,
five-turnover performance on a night when the Timberwolves cruised
early and collapsed late in their first game back in the U.S. after a
European tour.
