Wolves 88, Sonics 99

Meeting the SuperSonics for the first time since each franchise started
over last summer by trading its best player to the Boston Celtics, the
Wolves lost an early 26-11 lead and their composure when the opposition
switched after one quarter to a zone defense that they couldn’t
decipher until it was far too late.
Wolves record: 3-18

Supermodel Adriana Lima attended the game in support
of Wolves point guard Marko Jaric. They recently began dating, and
teammate Mark Madsen once joked that Jaric’s improved play is due to
his relationship with her. She sat in a courtside seat wearing a gray
sweater and jeans, very Minnesota-like attire.

21 Wolves turnovers, which tied a season high.
25 Margin by which the Wolves were outscored by Seattle in the second and third quarters after they led 26-11 after one quarter.
