Wolves Updates 12/25

That might take some doing for a Wolves team that returned Marko Jaric
and Rashad McCants from sick leave for practice Monday but lost Gerald
Green and Michael Doleac to a flu bug from which forward Craig Smith
still is recovering. Veteran Greg Buckner also was back at practice
after missing two games because of a personal leave.

Also from Zgoda:
Green, who has battled illness during a week in which he finally has
seen some playing time, did not attend Monday’s practice. Doleac
watched in sweats from the sideline.

Jaric was back Monday morning after missing three games because he was
too ill to get out of bed. His pale face and 10 lost pounds suggested
he hasn’t fully recovered.

Jaric worked out individually Sunday and practiced
Monday with the team. Jaric and McCants, who missed two games because
of the flu, are expected to go on the road with the Wolves, who are to
leave tonight for a four-game West Coast trip.

Chances of the Timberwolves ending up with the No. 1 pick in the NBA draft lottery: 22.4 percent.
