Wolves Updates 12/28 Part 2

Telfair has found a home in Minnesota after struggling for
three seasons in the NBA. The former lottery pick of the
Trail Blazers starts at point guard for the Timberwolves and
is playing the best basketball of his career.

"I’m more experienced; even when I wasn’t
playing well, I learned from those situations," Telfair
said after practicing Thursday at the Rose Garden in
anticipation of tonight’s game against the Blazers.
"I am just an older basketball player at this point in
my career, and that helps make me a better player."

Foye, of course, is still waiting for his injured kneecap heal and
hasn’t played yet this season. The next medical test to show if that
crack is finally gone will come in early January.

The Wolves are averaging a 1.0 rating and 2 share through 14 games on
FSN, and a 1.3 rating and 2 share in nine games on KSTC. (One ratings
point equals 16,784 households.)

Nine of FSN’s telecasts have failed to reach a 1.0 rating, including
five of the past six and four in a row. Last Friday and Saturday, the
Wolves had back-to-back telecasts on FSN and KSTC.
