Wolves 95, Suns 115

Steve Nash had a near-flawless game and five Phoenix players scored 17
points or more Friday night in the Suns’ 114-95 rout of Minnesota, the
Timberwolves’ 15th consecutive loss on the road.

Wolves record: 5-33

On Friday, the Suns surpassed 93 points by the fourth quarter’s opening
seconds after Barbosa fueled a 35-17 second quarter that slung his team
into a lead that ballooned to as many as 26 points in the second half.

The Suns made 11 three-pointers — six of them in the second quarter
alone — on a night when Amare Stoudemire provided 23 points and 11
rebounds and Steve Nash delivered 17 points and 13 assists.

Al Jefferson led all scorers with 27 points. He shot 11-for-20 on the night, got to the line eight times and racked up 14 rebounds.
Jefferson also led the attack in the paint, where the Wolves manhandled Phoenix, 58-34.
But it was Phoenix’s 54.3 percent from the field that did Minnesota in.
